# Troubleshooting

## Authentication issues

* Standard Metrics MCP logins expire every 30 days. Disconnect and reconnect the connector to reauthorize your account.
* Confirm that you are signing in with the intended Standard Metrics account.
* Ensure there are no extra spaces in the MCP server URL.

## Connection failed

* Confirm that the server URL is exactly `https://mcp.standardmetrics.io/mcp`.
* Confirm that your client supports Streamable HTTP and OAuth for remote MCP servers.
* Restart your client and try connecting again.

## No data found

* Confirm that your Standard Metrics account has portfolio data.
* Verify that your user has the necessary permissions.
* Try a simpler query first: "List my companies."
