Authentication

The Standard Metrics MCP server uses OAuth. You sign in with the same account you use for the Standard Metrics web app.
The Standard Metrics MCP server does not support API key authentication.

Authorize your account

After you add the MCP server to a compatible client:
  1. Select the Standard Metrics connector in your client.
  2. Start the connection or authorization flow.
  3. Sign in to Standard Metrics in the browser window that opens.
  4. Complete the authorization flow and return to your client.
Each user authorizes their own Standard Metrics account. If an administrator adds the connector for an organization, that makes the connector available to users but does not grant them access to Standard Metrics data.

Reauthorize your account

Standard Metrics MCP logins expire every 30 days. If your client can no longer access Standard Metrics, disconnect the connector, reconnect it, and complete the browser authorization flow again.
